Recently there has been quite a bit of scrutiny into the integrity of bloggers and the products they discuss. I want to be completely honest and upfront with all readers of my blog so you know what you are getting.
Everything that is on Bramble & Thorn is written by myself, Tessa Browne. I take all of my own photos, and will directly link to any photographs that are not mine.
All products that you see featured on Bramble & Thorn are purchased by me, and I will clearly specify if anything has been sent to me for review purposes. Each product that is sent to me will have a * next to it so it will be very easy to see what I have paid for and what has been provided.
Everything that I write about here is my true and honest opinion - I'm not going to write something that I do not believe in. This blog is just as much for me as it is for readers, so I'm not going to waste my time lying about the latest fad beauty product. I am never obliged to feature any samples received and I will never feature products on my blog that I wouldn’t buy myself.
Like most bloggers, I use affiliate linking to gain a small amount of commission when linking to products. I have no problem with this and as blogs are free to read and take time to create, I think there should be no stigma surrounding this. Affiliate linking basically means that I will sometimes get paid a commission if you purchase a product or service that I link to in my content. I want to be clear that my reviews are driven entirely by my own opinions, and linking to the products I'm discussing is primarily intended to assist Bramble & Thorn readers find out where to buy them.
