5 Easy Ways To Use Greenery In Your House

Over the past year or so, I've been slowly building somewhat of a green army in my house. It first started simply with a madonna lily, and after I managed to keep it alive for a few week I moved on to bigger plants. Now my lounge room is starting to resemble a jungle, and I couldn't be happier.

I'm still working out the best locations for all of my plants, as they all have different requirements (indirect sunlight, water once a week; low light, water once every month). However, I can definitely attest to the amazing effect indoor plants have on your health. Not only has spending time in nature been linked to reduced stress levels and tension relief, a 2008 study found that hospital patients with indoor plants in their rooms reported lower stress levels than patients without them.

With that in mind, here is some indoor plant inspiration to get you thinking about your own home!
