Scenes from Port Fairy I

For longtime followers of Bramble & Thorn, you've probably heard me mention Port Fairy a couple of times. It's no real surprise why, as it's my hometown and I visit there regularly when I need a break from Melbourne. It's a truly beautiful part of Australia, yet as it's quite a decent journey from Melbourne (read: a three-and-a-half hour car ride) many people don't have a chance to visit.

I took the following photos on December 30, 2015, at Griffiths Island, Port Fairy at sunset. It was a completely still evening, and other than some wallabies and a couple of people fishing I had the island to myself. It was the loveliest way I can imagine spending the second last day of 2015.
