I'm just going to say this right now: I could never give up sugar, and honestly have no desire to cut it out of my life completely. A small treat each day makes me happy, and I maintain a healthy lifestyle that allows me to indulge without a huge amount of guilt.
Having said that, I'm always on the lookout for things to make that satisfy that craving without being terribly bad for you. That's when Deliciously Ella's Date and Chia Pudding comes in. It is easy to make, tastes amazing, and only has four ingredients. The recipe says it's for breakfast, but I like to keep it in the fridge and snack on it throughout the week when the sugar cravings kick in.
Incidentally, this recipe was the first time I have bought and tried almond milk, and I actually really liked it! I've never enjoyed drinking milk on its own, so am glad I've now found a suitable alternative.

Date and Chia Pudding
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons chia seeds
1 teaspoon date syrup
2 tablespoons coconut yoghurt
1 cup almond milk
Place chia seeds, date syrup, and coconut yoghurt in a jar, then add the almond milk. Stir to combine, place the lid on the jar, then leave in the fridge for around 8 hours.
The chia seeds will absorb the liquid, and will result in a jelly-like consistency. Perfect on its own, otherwise serve with fresh berries.
