I'm not really one to get caught up in make up trends, but this nude lip business definitely had me intrigued. It suits pretty much everyone, and can be worn for any occasion. Ideal for a lazy gal like myself.
A bit of research proved that a collection of Kardashians had touted their favourite nude lip products, meaning that the most hyped shades were well and truly sold out. Nevertheless, I trusted my local MAC girls in fitting me out with the perfect nude shade - including my first ever lip pencil! I honestly can't believe I've gone so long without using a lip pencil, it makes my lipstick look so much better - so much so that I went back to MAC a couple of days later to get one in red!
The lipstick of choice was a matte MAC lipstick in Honeylove, while the liner was a gorgeous shade called Subculture. Together, they create a lovely nude pinkish-brown shade that surprisingly doesn't dry out my lips like most matte lipsticks tend to do.
I've only had these products a couple of weeks, but have been wearing it almost every day, and amazingly it is quite long lasting. I'm not sure if it's the lip liner holding everything in place, but it's so good to be able to see it putting up a fight against the numerous cups of tea I have every morning!
